HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR LASH EXTENSION APPOINTMENT:

First rule:

Before you come to your lash appointment you have to think of several rules of dos and don’ts. First of all no makeup on around the eye area or skin care are allowed. Why? Because we use gel eye-pads under the eye that doesn’t stick if you have oil based makeup or skincare around the eye area. The oil in the makeup and skincare affects the adhesive in the lash extensions which can cause that your lashes are falling earlier and can damage your lashes,

Second rule:

Avoid caffeine before your appointment, please! I know some of you people find it hard to skip the morning coffee before your appointment but it’s really necessary. Because caffeine can cause obstacles for technicians and delay the eyelash extension process. The reason why is because caffeine is a stimulant that can increase your heart rate and blood pressure and makes your eyes twitch many times. Which create difficulties for us to put each lash together with natural lashes, like I told you the process will be delayed.

Third rule:

We found this rule the most important one, namely hygiene. Hygiene is not just about keep your lashes clean, it’s about how you do it. You can wash your lashes with just water everyday and they will still be dirty. Lash shampoo is the magic key to have clean and healthy lashes. We always recommend to clean your lashes everyday to avoid some missed dirt. When you do eyelash extensions it’s important to keep them dry and clean. Moisture and dirt can weaken the adhesive that holds the extensions, causing them to come off earlier than expected. Additionally, getting your eyelash extensions wet can increase the risk of them breaking.
